Client Spotlight: Apparatus (7/15/2014)
Creative director Gabriel Hendifar has a background in fashion and interior design and Jeremy Anderson has previously worked in the Public Relations industry. Together Hendifar and Anderson teamed up to create the New York based design studio Apparatus. Fixtures are individually assembled by hand in the studio, fusing sculptural form and hand-worn materials to result in a timeworn and modern warm glow. As Apparatus grows, they realize the need for a technology partner. As such they have decided to select MCG, Inc. to protect their computer systems.

Microsoft's Exchange Online Outage (6/24/2014)

Microsoft Office 365 Service Health Dashboard does not indicate any issues taking place, but a bulletin posted to the Office 365 forum states a “degraded network infrastructure” is causing the issues – an explanation that may sound familiar since it’s the same one Microsoft gave yesterday when Lync was down. Without any concrete information, customers are now frustrated at both the outage and the lack of customer service.

DIY 3-D Printing (05/28/2014)

The printer manufactures objects "thin layer by thin layer" and in today's world of technology there are dozens of competitors all trying to be the best in terms of speed, accuracy and affordability. Digital technology has simplified the design process, allowing for smaller and cheaper models to be targeted to new audiences like architects and jewelry makers. Yet with so many brands in the market, what company has become the one to beat? According to Crain's that would Brooklyn's MakerBot, acquired by Stratasys for $400M last year.
